Born in Singapore and of Chinese descent, I am a writer, educator and researcher living on unceded Kulin Nations land. My PhD research revolves around visual cultures and histories of anti-racist and anti-colonial social movements, in particular theorising boycott as decolonising work. I also work across multiple disciplines, spaces, collaborations: with artists, in community organising, refugee justice, copyediting, media studies teaching.

I hold a M.St. in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Melbourne.
